A Thousand Different Ways

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. No I'm not going to get all poetic and rapturous. I don't have to because Jaymes Foster, Clay's executive producer, did it for me.

Clay blogged. He suggested that we might want to read Jaymes Foster's blog ;) Sure, Clay, whatever you say honey!

She told us that "Our" album is ready. The CD title is "A Thousand Different Ways." It was finished as of last night, July 16th. She said it was a long journey but very much worth the wait. They started down one path and ended up on another that she's sure we'll be pleased with and one that they are very proud of. She talked about working with some of the greatest singers on the planet, she named Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and Andrea Bocelli. She now realizes that Clay belongs among those most amazing singers. She said that they tried to capture Clay's voice as if he were singing live and she feels that the songs he chose showcase that. She can't say anything more about the song selection just yet but she will when she can.

This is my favorite part. "But, I believe you will hear him singing in ways that you have never heard or even dreamed of. His musical talent, instincts and abilities have astounded me."

RCA will make the formal announcement soon and "Clay and I are sure that you will love this album in "A Thousand Different Ways"! ;)"

  1. It's a wonderful title, and I am beyond happy that we finally have a concrete title and SOON really will be soon!! Jaymes' words were beautiful, and I am so ecstatic about this new album. I am so proud of Clay in a thousand different ways =D

I love the title of the new cd, and we do love Clay "A Thousand Different Ways". Nothing or nobody can ever stop that, no matter how hard they try.

This cd will be amazing not only for the beautiful voice that will be singing, but because of the real man that is behind the voice.

    Always and Forever!

ps - This vid of The Way is my all time favorite.

  4. I love the title and I absolutely LOVED what Jaymes said about Clay, his voice and his talent and how great the new CD will be!

I can't hardly wait, but I guess I'll have to!

On an off topic note, I just won a meet and greet with the Goo Goo Dolls and I'm floating on a cloud right now! Johnny is such a hottie and I just love the GGD so much and was absolutely thrilled when Clay did Iris last year!! I might have to make mention of it to him and see what he says (well, maybe, if I can say ANYTHING at all and not trip over my tongue, lol).

    Are they serious?

Oh well, at least now that he'll be forced to promote the CD and face the public, the real fun should start.
Clay, come out, come out wherever you are!

Why are they trying to turn us against Clay, Why do they think they can ruin Clay? Just leave us the hell alone, leave Clay alone. We just want to enjoy him. I will never get it. Truly pathetic.

Clay's CD is going to be released, he is going to promote it, he is going to tour he is going to be on tv, deal with it, find some other hobby, take up gardening, or try doing something nice for someone, volunteer your time for a worthy cause. *Shakes head*

There are plenty of boards dedicated to hating on Clay; you apparently have found one, therefore, you should be very happy. Yet, you sound angry. I'm curious as to what caused all this anger. Please don't bring up his alleged "gay" behavior and his trolling the internet. I'd like to know the real reason. Did he trick you in some way, lead you on? Were you expecting something from him that he failed to deliver? Did you feel a connection, only to have that pipe dream shattered? Let's be frank here. Your anger goes back beyond the last 7 months. What exactly happened to turn you away? Be specific, so that we can all understand your point of view.

Yep. Discouraged, silenced and censored is an apt description for what happens to fans that dare ask a question, voice a concern, or even say anything that people think is from a viewpoint other than their own. I was just an anonymous stranger here, I didn't even have to say anything here with any kind of dissenting view, before I was attacked and insulted. The OFC, The Clayboard, even more "liberal" boards like the Woodshed and Openly Clay have engaged in this kind of group think. I have still yet to offer a rude or uncivil word to anyone. If I have any bitterness at all, that is what I'm angry at.
As for Claikens, I'm no longer the fan I used to be, as is my right. I am happy though that his new CD is coming out now, and I really do hope it is well-received musically, because I do know that there is more to look forward to then just what music might be on it. :)

What did he do that was so devastating to your psyche that you despise him so much now?

Who says I despise him? I think he has taken advantage of his fanbase and not been honest, but we all have our faults now don't we?

When do you take responsibility for your part in all this? Gee, perhaps if your imagination hadn't gotten away from you, you'd realize he owes you nothing.

My part? And what do you imagine "my part" is?
If he holds himself to be a man of standards or character, my opinion is that he probably owes himself a reality check. That's between himself and his maker though.

That's too hard, though, isn't it... hating him is so much easier than admitting you screwed up your own life.

I have a hard time believing anyone would buy into the scam of the last 7 months. Even if Clay is gay, and I don't think he is, he isn't stupid. He can have anyone he wants. He certainly wouldn't be trolling the internet, nor would he be outing himself to total strangers. He once claimed he was afraid to burp in public for fear it would end up in the tabloids; he wouldn't go to a motel to meet a total stranger when he could have been walking into an ambush set up by the tabloids. That whole episode was so ridiculous, it had taken on farcical proportions. It was a scam from the get-go. The evidence was non-existent, the webcams were a joke, the IM's were phony. The objective was to force this scam deep into the mainstream to negatively impact the CD and affect Clay's career. This was supposed to be punishment for not giving an interview to a specific gay magazine. The accusations were increasingly outlandish to force Clay to deny the charges. But TC wasn't playing that game.

I don't know how anyone who can think clearly would believe any of this nonsense.

I can't understand the bitterness, unless one is a woman scorned, or one envisioned Clay as a virginal choirboy. Sometimes, some set their expectations too high, while others become obsessed and put the object of their obsession on a pedestal or delude themselves into thinking they have a chance at a relationship.

Live up to his standards? He's a decent human being. What else do you want? If he's disappointed you in some way, move on. That's what most people would do. I don't believe this is merely a mild diversion for your amusement. That would imply boredom. You sound way too bitter. Let it go and move on.

Didn't their 'insider' tell them that Jaymes was fired or quit? Don't remember which one. Wrong. They also go on and on about how much the Claynation has died down. About how many fans Clay has lost. Wrong again. At least in my opinion.

Thing is, Anonymous bitter - Clay owes you nothing. He lives his life how he wants to live his life. Tries to be the best person he can be. That's all he can do. From what I can see, those that are the most bitter, went to a few M&G's, and things didn't go the way they expected. So it was then, that they decided that Clay is a horrible person.

Wasn't worried about him noticing my hair cut (thank GOD...it was 108 degrees out that day)wasn't worried about him being moody (he was in a great mood, even though it was hot)...I had a great time, had a nice visit, nice autograph and a great picture.

What more could a person want?

If anything, I just see the Claynation growing. Another comment I found interestig, is that "we've seen all Clay can do. He's just not that impressive." Bull. I just find it funny that they call US obsessive. Who's obsessed here? It couldn't be the people who spend the day and night attacking Clay and his fans now could it? Nah. Because I often spend my all my free time on a blog going on and on about people I hate. And a big fat W.O.R.D to everything you say :) Except.. me myself, I LOVE Clay Aiken :) And I love his new CD title.. although for some reason, my mind goes to the gutter sometimes.

Good for you. I hope that once this CD comes out and all that surrounds it, you will be able to enjoy more of those experiences.

  58. Bwhaahahhaaha...now you're just being silly.

Trying to antagonize now with your children comment? Please, I work with people like you ever day.

You want to engage in a power struggle with me so you're just throwing out the bait. Sorry, not biting. Nice try, though.

Will you be back when you are proven wrong about all the secrets you carry with you or will you scurry into your corner and cry?

What else surrounds the cd...oooh, I can't wait to hear this.

    Cue Twilight Zone music.

I'm on the edge of my seat.

  61. I think she thinks Clay is going to get bombarded with questions about the scandal. Anyone else think that's her story?

You know, he will get asked, I'm sure. I have no doubt he will handle it with the same amount of class that he's handled all of this for the past 7 months.

One or two people will ask, he will answer and that will be the end of it.

The whole group standing in the shadows rubbing their hands in glee will be highly pissed because he, once again, will have beaten them at their own game.

Hee...it will be well worth the price of admission.

Again, I have no hidden agenda.
A lot will surround the CD, like any CD release. Promotion, Interviews, Press, Tour.

I do need to retire now. I do want to say this has been enlightning though. One thing though about posting here, is you really don't know who you may be chatting with. There is a reason I don't need to purchase the CD.

I really do hope you'll enjoy the music. Thank you for your unvarnished comments. Goodnight.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Anonymous10:51 PM

I don't know why I just laughed so hard at you saying goodnight to Clay :::confused:::

    Maybe it's just because I'm weird :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous10:51 PM

The haters post in their blog for anyone not liking what they have to say to leave.
Why would chexxie let them come here and spew? It makes this just another haters blog.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Anonymous10:52 PM

I hope this poster isn't implying the rumor of more of that webcam crap when the CD drops. Just goes to prove it was all a set-up. Now they're trying to do their own montages using You-Tube. Sick, twisted, pathological SOB's who don't have a life. Pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Anonymous10:53 PM

Because I'm sure she's not here 24 hours a day to moderate the comments. Open discussion is sometimes good though.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Anonymous10:53 PM

Sorry. Just wanted to clarify. I am not Clay, nor pretending to be him.

    Goodnight.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anonymous11:01 PM

What is the poster implying, that he/she (I think it's a she by tone of voice) works for RCA or SAM? Sure, and I'm the Queen of England. Anyone leaking information to the haters would be ferreted out and fired. It's just a typical excuse (hit and run) to avoid a debate. What else is new? Coward.

  72. Anonymous11:02 PM

What's the reason you don't NEED to buy the CD?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Someone want to take a screenshot of this?

How can they expect us to believe them when he/she starts out as a scorned fan and then ends it by being an "insider".

    Give me a freakin' break...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Anonymous11:08 PM

I believe alot of these 'hater's are scorned fans. I've seen it. It always starts out with "I loved Clay, I went to a M&G, and he didn't look at me like a hetero male would, he was a jerk, and by the by.. my brother works in the industry and knows what a jerk Clay is."

    ReplyDelete
  75. Anonymous11:08 PM

    unless they are both?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Anonymous11:09 PM

Did he/she say they were an insider though?

    ReplyDelete
  77. No, never said anything about being an "insider". The last post was supposed to leave us with the impression that it was someone from "TC" posting here.

Uh, ok...some obscure blog like Chexxxy's (sorry, chexxxy)...sure, you betcha.

It was probably Groucho...he tends to use the word "retire" when he talks about sleep...

It's all a game...when they get back ed into the corner, they play the bait and switch game.

If you read through the whole blog, the change doesn't come until the last couple of posts...up until then, he/she was a pissed off fan.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Anonymous11:17 PM

It was odd, that Ms. Bitter kept pointing out that 'there is no need to buy the CD, there is no need'. I've never seen posts of that nature on any other blog, from someone who was so in the know, and had a reason not to buy the CD.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Anonymous11:17 PM

I don't get the whole "pissed off fan" thing from reading it all though. He/she sounds disappointed, maybe pissed at the CB but not really a traditional hater?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Anonymous11:19 PM

I don't know what to think, but weird.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'm not even sure it was a female.

Disappointed? By what? He/she obviously believes the whole JP story...that doesn't sound like someone who was just disappointed.

Dunno...I felt a lot of antagonism and hidden bitternes in his/her posts...either that or a really good actor.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Anonymous11:23 PM

I'm with Yeathat. Definetly antagonistic. I think he'she wandered from another blog, it was probably dead. And yeathat, by the way. I used to read your posts on FOC, and I was wondering where you had gone to.. I always enjoyed your posts. Glad to find ya here :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. I was hiding out for awhile when I had a price on my head!!! ;)

I'm around...I check in at the FOC, OFC, OhCrap, TruthRules, etc.

Sometimes I post, sometimes I don't. Tonight was my night, I guess! Hee!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Anonymous11:27 PM

I left this post on another blog ( a truth Blog) I wanted to say a thank you to the " HATE CLAY BLOGGS" and thier bloggers, Becca, superherofan, cootie/groucho, ETC. The are the subject of my psychology term paper, and my prof thinks it's great! I've gotten great marks and we've even discussed the rationalities of thier posts and behaviors. My classmates do lurk there and we are laughing our asses off. Clay has alot more sales coming his way! My class loves him now. I know Clay and his fans are tired of it all, so am I after the pages of dialog I've sifted through but I thought I'd use thier hate for good. They may be excited to know they have been the subject of discussion in college. Haters are us... I"M GETTING AN A!!!!! I was going to do my paper on clay's fans but that's all they are. Fans. Kelly's fan's, taylor's fan's AI fans, ANY fans. They're not doing anything different. The only difference is CLAY"S FANS ARE DOERS! Raising money etc. To be honest they weren't the "crazy" subject I thought they'd be. The haters....now that's a story! MY pre-proffesional analysis.....They're NUTZ!!!! I think I'm gonna find myself a claymate application!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Anonymous11:29 PM

Well, at least ya popped in tonight :) I don't know about your posting at FOC, I was denied access :( And I can't seem to get a good opinion on if the OFC is worth the money.

    ReplyDelete
  87. What reason would she have to be disappointed in Clay unless she had bought into all this bs that's been floating around for 7 months.

Not buying it. He/she definitely came here for a reason and it wasn't because she wanted to talk about how disappointed she was.

We gave her the opportunity....I asked her to share why she was here, another poster did the same.

She was evasive and danced really well.

But, you know, I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything...just my own feelings while posting with her/him.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Anonymous11:33 PM

Now whattya mean, we're 'just fans'? Man, I'll tell ya.. nothing boring about this fandom :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. 11:29, you were denied access to FOC? That's too bad...it's kind of a free for all type of board.

I don't go there as much as I used to...real life keeps getting in the way.

I think the OFC is worth the money just for the blogs...but...when it comes to Clay, I'm easy! ;)

Congrats psych. student...sure hope you have a spellchecker when you finish writing your paper.

Maybe you can scan it for us so we can read it?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Anonymous11:33 PM

You got a link to those blogs, right? I'm not asking.. just checking.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Anonymous11:35 PM

Yupper dupper, I'd like to read that paper :) And yup, I was denied access to FOC. no big deal, I was just confused on why. Oh well. And I'm def. thinking about paying for the OFC when I have the money, just for the blogs :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. Links to Clay's blog? Like in my bookmarks or something? No, I don't. If I want to read the blog, I go to the fansite....

    ReplyDelete
  93. Anonymous11:37 PM

Congrats on your paper! I know that's a ton of hard work.

    ReplyDelete
  94. It's your perogative to believe whatever you want. If you read disappointment, that's your choice, too.

I'll stick by my initial feelings, though, if you don't mind.

And I don't mean boring...Just not Crazy! I'll admit i believed it. Not any more. I like what you guys are doing. Very cool. And clay's well... ok. He's very good looking. I'll admit it. The guy could always sing.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anonymous11:41 PM

See I don't know. What I see it as is just people jumping on the bandwagon. One little turd came out with a story, then everybody jumped on the bandwagon. I just don't buy it.

Jen just IM'ed me to come over here to read it and I don't know if I believe it, but it is very strange.
She thought it might be Faye or Kristy?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Bwahahaha....I was wondering why you were asking about links to the blogs. Hee!

Just teasing about the spelling thing...I've been known to drop letters a few times! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  100. What would be the point of Kristy or Faye playing that game on this particular blog?

Doesn't make a bit of sense to me but whatever...if it proves to be someone from Clay's camp, I suppose I'll be told to clean up my language.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Anonymous11:45 PM

Who am I kidding. PSYCH is hooked. I'm a claymate now! Is there a 12 step program? I don't have a scanner, maybe I can do that when the paper is done. Thanks for the chat guys I gotta go. But I'll be lurking again soon. (that's abad word now right?) see, I know that too.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Anonymous11:48 PM

I don't know. before this, I never really heard that Clay was a bad guy who trolled around on the internet. I've spoken to quite a few people who met him and said he was great. I don't know what you heard before this 'scandal'. I think TC is doing fine. Clay's even stated before that if he were to fight every tabloid story, he wouldn't have time for anything else.

Don't just believe everything you hear. Look at the person as a whole, and then just think about it. People are always going to have something to say about you. Again, just think about it. There are alot of anti-Clay blogs out there, and those people are just trying to turn people off of Clay. There arguements are based on lies. 11:46 - you sound as if you are starting to believe them. Just look at is as a whole, and think about it logically.

  122. It doesn't matter what Clay says if asked about it. Those who don't want to believe him now won't change their minds. They will continue to say he's lying. So for him, the less said the better.

For those of you whose survival is hanging on the fantasy that Clay is gay, you'd better find something else to hang your soul on.

You will find out the truth that he isn't gay before long and your lives will crumble if you don't get a grip.

I am giving you fair notice. Don't say you weren't warned.

  127. Anonymous9:43 PM

I am a fan from day one and nothing has changed for me...or many others. I live by this and Im glad Clay does too! When you have nothing to hide, you have no need to defend yourself. When you have to constantly repeat yourself, you must believe that you are not believable. He said it once and he's done saying it. He doesn't owe anyone any comments. Comments only make a "tale" into a money making story. The story never ends as long as it makes money. Making another comment is a waste of energy. People will believe what they choose to believe no matter what he says.
His silence comes from strength and character...not weakness. For all those who insist on rehashing this ugliness, you are proving how weak you are as people. It is falling on deaf ears in the intelligent world. GO AWAY!!!
