The Tribe Has Spoken

JeffVarner
Dec 28, 2006 10:12 PM

I'm still waiting on someone to pop in and agree to talk on camera. No manipulation. I don't manipulate.

Excuse me, Jeff, while I laugh my ass off. Maybe I should say it in bitchy queen, a language I'm sure you're more accustomed to.

I have a few questions of my own for you. You said:

The story with Josh is Josh talking. There were a lot of people in the room including his family. Nothing was manipulated.

Why did you use only a minute of Josh's 45 minute interview?

Why were so many of his words muted even while on camera?

Why was he smiling and laughing while he was saying the things that your broadcast interpreted as angry?

Why were there no on-camera questions interspersed with the so called answers?

Why did you manipulate this non event into such a circus?

According to TMZ, Josh said:

Well, I was on the news Fri. before the concert and Fox 8 was expecting me to be on stage Sat., and I wasn't!!! So they called me Wed. @ 9:27 AM and asked me what happened!!! And all i did was answer honestly!!! It is not my fault that not everything of my 45 min. interview was put on the news!!! So all you people saw was what was against Clay!!!

Why did you use a 15 year old child to further your own agenda?

Jeff continues:

If Clay doesn't return calls, according to some responses here, I'm supposed to let it go and not report it? If a murderer commits his crime, but refuses to talk to me about it, am I supposed to drop it? No.

Why would you be so arrogant as to think that Clay would talk to you? You're just another annoyance. Same shit, different day.

Why do you think a reality show loser, like yourself, who couldn't hang on to his 15 minutes, would cause even a moment's pause in the life of a successful star?

Why do you quote an esteemed journalist in your website bio when you don't have any intention of honoring his sage advice?

The search for truth requires a bit of actual work on your part, Jeff. Soliciting comments from anonymous posters in your comments section and inviting e-mails from any Tom, Dick or Mary doesn't qualify. I could write all kinds of convincing e-mails that spoon feeds you what you want to hear. I could use any one of a dozen e-mail addresses and aliases to play any role I wanted including contradicting my own statements to create a lively debate and fill your inbox with an avalanche of everything from over the top religious ranting to earnest confessions of adoration to vicious but well-crafted rumors.

Why didn't you simply contact the symphony and the promoters to get the real story? Isn't that what a real journalist would do? Too bad your education is in internet marketing instead of journalism. Did you lie on your resume, Jeff, or did Fox8 hire you because a Survivor contestant is all they could afford?

But the point people are trying to argue that I only reported one side without doing my legwork is not accurate. I would never have allowed Josh on air without knowing a lot more about the situation than was reported.

Oh yes you only reported part of the story. You reported that Clay performed the longest set of all of the concert series in Greensboro. That isn't true. His set list is exactly the same throughout the series. I notice you didn't research that claim, nor did you correct it because telling the truth was never your goal.

You see, the truth is clear and your agenda is clear. You are just another gay gossip blogger and just like all of the other militant gays, you resent Clay's success, you resent his popularity and it roasts your ass that he has legions of adoring fans.

I really want Clay fans to talk on camera about why they love Clay and take up for him. If he won't talk to me, you're the next best thing, don't you think?

The fans aren't going to talk to you because you're just another nobody with a blog. The haters love to swarm the comments section of bloggers that show their fangs and attack Clay Aiken. They used you, buddy, and you bought the whole enchilada. You aren't anything new that we haven't seen before and many of the others are much less transparent in their manipulation. You erased any comments that didn't agree with your goal to trash Clay Aiken. If we ignore every other thing you did and only consider the act of deleting the comments that set the record straight and are in support of Clay, your integrity is still shot.

There has been a firestorm of Clay support here. I find it interesting not one of these people will agree to support their idol without their mask of anonymity.

You're not that bright, are ya? What part of anonymous comments don't you understand? What makes you think the comments are from real claymates? Get a clue. You've been played. You are a gossipmonger and will never be a legitimate journalist. You are only a minor irritant. The tribe has spoken. Goodbye.

Chexxxy, many thanks for spelling out for Jeff how the con man has been conned. I am a bit surprised that he was so easily suckered by all those "fans" (right). I've found that no-talent people like Jeff usually have highly developed survival skills (no reference to the show intended), making it possible for them to compensate short term for the substance they lack. I would think that Jeff would be on guard against being conned himself. But then, he did paint himself into a tight corner with all of his biased "reporting" and blatant ill will towards Clay. The haters made it so convenient for Jeff to perpetuate his own lies and erase the truth.

  2. Well, he didn't make it too far on Survivor either. He's lacking in some critical thinking skills.

  3. Great work, Chexxxy. Did Jeff allow this to go through on his site? It certainly sets the record straight. I SO appreciate everything you're doing on Clay's behalf. It's criminal what these creeps have put him (and us) through. If not for the incredible efforts by fans like you, the haters might have succeeded in costing Clay his fanbase. Thank God that will never happen!

  4. I don't need to go to his site. He came to mine.

Great blog, Chexxxy. Does Varner get paid by the hour or is he salaried by FOX8? Do you think they are aware he is spending time on such ridiculous dribble?

Masterful blog, Chexxxy. Everything you said is absolutely true. Varner's trying for the big scoop, but has no interest in reporting anything real -- just sensationalistic bullshit at the expense of a man who has more class in his thumbnail than this famewhore has in his entire body. And shame on him for trying to use a 15 year-old boy to grab for another 15 minutes of fame.

This blog tells the truth. What a novel concept. The person that used a fifteen year old is this cast-off survivor, not Claymates. You twisted this whole thing until it didn't even resemble what actually happened. Why would you attack somebody you don't even know? You weren't there. You just saw a little bandwagon and decided it was better than nothing and jumped on. If you hadn't blown it all out of proportion, you wouldn't, you know have, an actual story and nobody would remember your name. You should be ashamed.

"You see, the truth is clear and your agenda is clear. You are just another gay gossip blogger and just like all of the other militant gays, you resent Clay's success, you resent his popularity and it roasts your ass that he has legions of adoring fans."

Chexxxy, I knew that Jeff had a thinly veiled agenda. Thank you for clarifying which parasitic agenda it is.

Like most of Clay's fans, I support Clay with no thought or concern about his sexual orientation. That's his personal business.

    Digression:
Does anyone have a clue why gays are so obsessively homophobic about "outing" people they desperately want to be gay? I personally believe that sexual preference is assigned not chosen. I also believe that God loves all of us equally. I regret that our institutions (government, religious, etc.) are intolerant and make being gay so onerous. Are gays so cruel to people they want to be gay because misery loves company? Are gays just looking to increase their published numbers? What is driving this gays outing people cruelty?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Way to call it, Chexxxy

The "outing" process for anyone gay or NOT gay is not so much about numbers, in my opinion. The militants scream for equal rights but somehow I feel they use it as an excuse; what they are into is abusing the Freedom of Speech right so they can control other peoples' lives and the entire entertainment industry. They have nothing valuable in their own lives so they have to make everyone else's miserable.

Sorry, that's the way I feel and people like PH, BM and this new idiot have caused me to change my direction to this way of feeling. Pitiful fools like Varner can't see that they are damaging public perception of THEM in their effort to discredit Clay through their agenda ridden lies.

Isn't it interesting that the only ones who benefit from Jeff's blog are Jeff and the Clay haters? The phrase "get a life" comes to mind. Jeff has been had big time. Clay's fans recognize the blog for what it is.

And Jeffie wants an interview with a fan? Hey, Jeff, we see how you have already spun what the 15-year-old said, and we're savvy enough to know we'd never be quoted accurately.

I think the clock is ticking rapidly on your second 15 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous11:08 AM

I was saddened when I saw the 15-year old's words (supposedly) published at one of the hate sites that is particularly pornographic. In the process of diminishing himself, the gossipmonger took the 15-year down with him. The gossipmonger is such a hypocrite, telling the fans that they are doing the boy harm, when, in fact, he sacrificed the kid in the pursuit of his own twisted agenda.

Since its founding, FOX "news," has been the brunt of jokes by the legitimate news media. Like its tabloid cousins, FOX is a bottom feeder. The gossipmonger may never rise above his current circumstances. His resume is already tainted. I doubt that any of the other networks or their affiliates will ever have an interest in him because of his FOX background.

I always say, "Never seek revenge. People who attempt to screw others will eventually screw themselves."

Looks as if gossipmonger has already done that.

  18. Great blog, Chexxxy. I really miss the old days when we had journalists. Mr. Varner, not only is a piss poor journalist, he is....well, a sorry excuse for a human being.

Rant over, I am totally baffled by this gay activist mafia group. What exactly are they trying to accomplish? I see their activities impeding the furtherment gay rights. I have always supported gay rights by voting and in total acceptance of my friends and family who are gay. But the last year has given me pause.

Jeffie, take a look in the mirror and tell me you really like what you see there. Is this what you wanted to be when you grew up??

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous11:29 AM

If Varner is so interested in the truth, all he'd have to do is phone Lisa Crawford of the Greensboro Symphony to confirm her e-mail explaining how the events unfolded. He refuses to do that because the e-mail is legit, he knows it and it's all a nonstory. He's trying to turn a molehill into a mountain to extend his waning 15 minutes. Truth has nothing to do with advancing his career.

I'm so sick of these posers jumping on Clay's fame, talent and hard work to gain themselves mainstream attention. It's been going on for 3 years now, and he's just the 2007 version of scumbag. But the year is young; I'm sure there will be others.

His latest blog is laughable. Some of the buzz words he used are so obvious, the fandom can predict with 100% accuracy the names of the haters with whom he's been in collusion.

Just another hack with a very transparent agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous11:52 AM

If Jeff really wanted to have a truthful, viable story, he could easily write about the haters who were so quick to jump on the bandwagon. But he opted to join them and parrot their ideology. In this case "media integrity" is definitely an oxymoron.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous11:54 AM

The things JV has said in his writings are not true. It's very simple that he cherry picked to make a story .Nothing new , just sad to try to profit from a guy that has done nothing to you. Jeff, you don't even know him. You just saw an opportunity to get some hits. Shame on you.

WOW great blog Chexxxy!! I agree Varner doesn't care about the TRUTH,he's only interested in hawking his transparent agenda and spreading
lies about Clay and us. No one should
agree to be interviewed by him just ignore him in that regards.

    ReplyDelete
  23. orionne12:34 PM

Varner is just the latest in a long line of "media" people with an agenda. All that the media has succeeded in accomplishing with their tactics is to show the public just what liars and manipulators they are. They have turned their "profession" into a laughingstock.

It always seems that another smear campaign begins just as another season of American Idol is around the corner. As you know, the AI contract gives the producers the right to smear any idol they so choose without any truth to it, and the idol must pay up to $5M as penalty if the idol challenges the claims. This smear campaign has been ongoing for 3 years and has been a steady drip, drip to create interest in the show's new season and to do harm to Clay's career and image by creating a public persona for him that has no basis in fact and is built on overused stereotypes.

2006 was a complete bombardment of trashy tabloid nonsense heaped on one pop singer because he refused to be shoved into the easy listening music box by his label. They couldn't find any dirt on him so they made it up as they went along. They would have you believe that Clay is a gay meanie diva who is not the person you think he is, who kicks kids and dogs and trolls the internet for sex. Give me a break! The guy isn't stupid and most who have worked with him always mention what a nice guy he is and a true professional. This has agenda written all over it.

Methinks that Varner was given a script to act out from the mothership in LA in exchange for a career boost. Just look at how a certain hated tabloid blogger has received mainstream acceptance this past year in exchange for his part in promoting this smear.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anonymous1:09 PM

I have to agree with the above statement. It's the same script year after year, all designed to trash Clay to the point of separating him from his highly-coveted fanbase and bring them back to the AI fold, while devaluing Clay to the competition who would choose to make him an offer once his current RCA contract ends.

    Great blog Chexxxy.

I looked at Jeff Varner's blog for the first time today. It looks like he is another PH wannabe. I never saw him on Survivor so have no idea who he is.

I'm sure he is seeing that most of his blogs get less than 20 hits versus something about Clay which garners over 500. Another opportunist in our midst and sadly from Clay's hometown area.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anonymous1:52 PM

After the last couple of years, I doubt I will ever trust anyone from the media again. As a liberal, the gay mafia tactics have given me pause too about my inate beliefs. These are things I never questioned in the past but today find myself being influenced negatively by their mean-spirited actions and have to force myself back to my original values and beliefs. It is becoming harder to do that as the lies and manipulation continue. Leave Clay alone. Leave us alone.

I can't even imagine that any of this hype is good for 15-year-old Joshua. Jeff Varner is just another one in a long list of opportunists.

Although I couldn't wade through over 500 comments on the Varner blog, I did read some of Jeffs comments. He claims to not know much about Clay or who John Paulus is. Disingenuous to say the least. Give me a break. He is from the same area in North Carolina and also a reality show survivor and media person. Tell me he doesn't know much about Clay Aiken. Bah. Take a look at the title of his blog if you don't believe me.

Fortunately, many of Clay’s fans are adults who can’t be easily manipulated. Adults think for themselves, base their decisions on their own experiences, and focus longer term. No one is going to sucker an adult with critical thinking skills into believing tabloid trash. No critic, “expert,” or insider is going to make a thinking adult change his allegiance by simply declaring that someone or something is no longer “it.” An adult will go about his merry way doing what he wants to do regardless of pressure from so called experts. Adults know who they are and what they like. They also have money to spend as they please.

Maybe that is why the attacks against Clay have been so vicious and unrelenting. I’ve wondered if the owners of the hate blogs are on someone’s payroll because they seem to have nothing else to do but smear Clay 24/7. (If they are on the payrolls of legitimate companies, then U.S. productivity is really getting screwed!) His fan base is a thorn in the side of those who want to diminish Clay. The music industry is so used to herding around tweens and their parents. Suddenly, the industry is dealing with an adult fan base it can’t sway. Even attacking the fan base itself won’t make it go away. Clay’s fans refuse to not believe who and what they believe Clay is.

God and Clay willing, I plan to be a Clay fan for many, many years to come. No one is going to tell me what to do in that regard.

Great blog! I don't even know who to quote because virtually every comment has me nodding my head and going "yup!"

I really wish that some honest journalist (are there any of those left? I'm not so sure ..) would decide to investigate the deeper story being alluded to in many of these comments :

    1. the disintegration of media integrity coupled with an increasing reliance of "bloggers" (ie, anyone with a computer and an agenda, facts be damned) to manipulate public perception and dictate the "news."

    2. The ugly truth of how a radical fringe of the gay movement considers it their duty to "out" gays ... even those who are not ACTUALLY gay. If they've determined that someone is gay through their use of pajoritive sterotypes, then the only answer they will accept it "yes." Even if that person is straight--if they don't admit it, they are hounded and trashed continually. Do they not see that their tactics are working against all they want to achieve by turning off even those who were once supportive?

    3. The dirty business and underhanded dealings and machinations of record companies and entertainment corporations, up to and including paying individuals to smear acts they wish to devalue. (Why some of those tactics are not prosecutable is beyond me)

    4. How it is that slander, libel, hate speech, and the destruction of lives and careers are not only legally permissable, but those who do engage in that become the darlings of the mainstream media (PH for example)

Now covering any one of THOSE things would be a REAL story. Where is a Bob Woodward when you need him?

Isn't it possible that The show was too long with the singers added and decisions needed to be made? and since the only rehearsal with Clay is that day, the decision would be last minute.( and it was the right one) as for Clay not interacting with Josh, Didn't anyone think that Clay himself said his anxieties happen in situations like that one. small rooms, strange people? Heck after the mic problems and having to cut kids from the show would put anyone in a bad enough mood to be stanoffish with people. It's a shame the situation happened but I just wanted to ask, what was the length of the show that night compared to others? and how long was it with 4 extra singers? that is most likely the answer to everything. (Of course since Clay is the only thing that has gotten hits and attention on that site JV feels the need for 2 more Blogs...comming soon. Anyone who insults Clay Aiken is lying. I will tell you why...

I went to a bar. I was talking to a guy and he said he couldn't stand Christina Aguilera and how she oversings and tries to sound like someone she is not. He went on about how when she attempts to hit a high falsetto, she always grabs her ears, as if she's trying to hear if her pitchy falsetto went through. We then got to talking about Whitney Houston. He said, I don't get what is so great about her voice. My parents are both music professors and agree with me. Especially when she shrills. We then got on the subject of American Idol. We talked about how Kelly Clarkson oversings and the fake belting is disterous and how she should stay away from singing Aretha and we talked about Katharine McPhee and her very thin, yet unemotional, unconnecting voice. We basically talked about everyone and then we finally got to Clay Aiken. He said he can sing. He said, he thinks that is what bothers people. He said, there is no way you can't deny that man can sing. I asked him who his favorite female voice was and he told me Aretha Franklin.

The point is, Clay Aiken can sing and is the best artist to come from American Idol. Case and point!

If Jeff was smart, he could use his position to expose all the liars and haters of a fellow reality tv show survivor. But I won't hold my breath. The title and tone of his blog tells me so.

I have never been to a Clay Aiken concert (let alone am a member of any fan websites or groups) nor have ever met the man and I think he is easily one of the best singers to ever walk the face of this planet. I think he's in the same league as Roy Orbison, Freddie Mercury, Josh Groban, Michael Sweet, Englebert Humperdink, Bobby Hatfield, Andy Williams, and Andy Bell. In fact, I think his voice is so unique, you can't compare him to someone, but people can be compared to him. When Clay Aiken sings, you know he is singing. His voice is timeless, yet current.

Is Percocet and MSLCP both gay man? Are they a gay couple? I wonder who is the bottom. They must have a very sad sex life, they have to obsess about Clay Aiken and his fans. What a bunch of white trash pigs they are.

Talk to the fans, those who refuse to post on those sites, he won't bother. skewed views are all he'll get

as to being liebelous, I'm sure he'll make sure to use the all important " ALLEGED" that gives them right to post whatever the hell they want. I will still be a Clay fan. No matter what. I have a mind of my own I'm pretty good a decerning truth from CRAP,

Great blog Chexxy, though I think I've said that before.

I'm a celebrity again . . . claymate411.blogspot.com (where they call me "celebitch") just banned me from posting because I was not only telling the truth, I was actually making some sense (God forbid those readers hear from a sane, normal person). They also assumed because I have you linked on my blog that I know you and we're friends (do I know you? Heaven only knows!). Personally, I thank God every day that Clay has brought so many wonderful women into my life and yes, I consider even the ones I haven't met yet friends!

Believe me when I tell you they don't get me down. What they are is laugable and I DO laugh at them.

What truly astounds me is that with all the crap I take on those hate boards, Clay gets that same stuff 100 times over and on a daily basis. True fame? Hell, I wouldn't have it if my life depended on it.

And how amazing it it that Clay, in the midst of all these "slings and arrows" is still able to maintain a positive and loving attitude. God, he's a far better man than I am woman! God bless him and all of us!

Celebhith, you bring up a very important, yet interesting point. Despite the adversity and critism Clay receives, he manages to make himself a better person. I don't understand what sort of cyberoptic mode, the nameless, faceless, baseless bullies they want to potray, but they look rather angry. Perhaps, you bring out their emotions and the only way they can get heard to any degree, is by an internet blog. One thing is for certain, while they are over obsessing (and whether that be a negative or positive way) about Clay, he is out making himself better, as well as, those he influences and the world, in general, a much better place.

Who is percocet? It's obvious it's someone who knows Clay's fans or at least knows the fans that read and lurk around. Is Percocet, Emach? Groucho is Ricky of Ricky.org. He is the Asian that blogs about the American Idol people. Groucho is not 50 some years old. Groucho is 22. Ricky admitted it was all a fake and a ploy. Do you think he's behind it all? 73. It's true that creeps like Jeff can't effect mature Clay fans. We're discerning enough to know Clay's character. What continues to upset me is the loss of the teenagers and twenty-somethings who would otherwise benefit from the joy of loving a positive role-model like Clay. But many of them are turned off by the garbage spewed by the haters, fame-whores, and Gay Mafia.

Is there any solution to this? Can we start a ground-swell of objection to LIES and DISTORTIONS on the internet? Would a petition with 1000's of signatures do any good? I want to DO SOMETHING!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Anonymous9:19 AM

Don't fall into believing everything you hear just because the haters repeat it over and over. Look at the videos taken at the buses after concerts. There are lots and lots of young people at the concerts. If your home board has a lot of mature fans it is because people gravitate toward their own kind. There are so many MSN, Yahoo and alt.usergroups that are populated by people that don't belong to the messageboards. Add myspace, promosquad, MTV, VH1, Nexopia, LiveJournal, Xanga and many other sites that are popular that you may not know about them if you aren't part of that demographic. The haters want you to think that the Clayboard represents the entire Clay Nation. Not even close.

The KCE in particular only has one major board that does represent the online fanbase. It's made up of a group of older women that control the board and influence/force the young ones to like who they like and to hate who they hate. If they don't conform they are banned. I can attest to that. I was a fan once. The young ones don't have any option other than the KC fanclub board and it's all the same people. What limits them is that they think that the ClayNation is just like them but they are so wrong. The majority of the Clay fandom is not even on the internet.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Anonymous10:58 AM

That is true about Kelly's fans who control KCE. They are all older from late 30s to late 50s. I was a fan once too. The hate, lies and dirty tricks against other fandoms drove me away. I have not been there for several months but hear through the grapvine that they are still the same. And I read their posts at TWOP and Pulse. Their leaders are the main hater posters on various sites. Heh, they accuse others of not having lives.

I was wondering how long it was going to take one of the many blogging insiders to find this discussion about Clay. The party wouldn't be complete without your super duper, top secret, behind the scenes gossip about Clay. ROFL

    Blogger, check.
    Angelwingers, check.
    Haters, check.
    "Insiders", check.

Now that all of the usual suspects are here, let the madness commence as it does on every other blog that exists about Clay.

Groucho is over at JV's pretending to be an insider again. He said that Clay is worse than Michael Jackson and R. Kelly. Of course, groucho knows that everyone in the universe HATES Clay. If JV believes a word out of that lunatic's mouth, he's a fool. Wait, what am I saying?

If you don't like what is going on with the internet, write members of the Supreme Court and your representatives in Congress. I'm already complaining about the internet to them. Shouldn't celebrities have equal rights under the laws. Shouldn't there be more criminal laws for what people post on the internet. Bloggers/professional gossips should not get away with using "alleged" or by saying "it was posted there first so it's not my fault it was a lie".

We can change things in this wild, wild west of the internet. How about this. Find the addresses for the Supreme Court and for your representatives in Congress. Buy envelopes and paper. Address the envelopes. Hand them out with paper and pens to your friends and family members. Offer to mail the letters if they write them. Collectively we can make a difference.

It looks like emach and the other psychos of claymate 411 have banded together with the KCE'ers at JV's blog to spread the Clay hate. They are just so predictable.

They've been spreading wild accusations about Clay all over the internet for 3 years now and last year both boards banded together to try to destroy Clay's career. Some of them should be arrested for criminal mischief at the very least, while the rest should be hauled into court on libel, defamation and harassment charges. One of them, in particular, has been impersonating Clay on gay porn sites. He should be chained to a bed in the psychiatric ward of a prison hospital. He's been kicked off so many websites and just rejoins under another alias.

Talk about life's losers finding each other. All just to get noticed by Kelly C. and Ruben. In fact, I'm not even sure that emach and woodle follow Ruben anymore. They're so consumed with Clay hate, there might not be enough time to support their guy. As for the KCE'ers, they encourage the teens on their board to commit acts of vandalism by breaking Clay's CD's in stores so they can't be purchased. They call DJ's and other entertainment outlets and post on blogs pretending to be crazy Clay fans. Any Kelly fan who tries to show support for Clay on their board is automatically banned.

I think internet laws need to be enacted so that lunatics like these can be held criminally responsible for their actions, in this case, trying to destroy the life and career of someone who's done nothing but be more popular than their chosen idols.

But the best thing yet is, he thinks he's really talking to someone that "works with everyone in the industry" which we all know is Rick Campbell - BWAH!!! That man doesn't even have a job, let alone work in the industry.

If he had any talent at all, he wouldn't behave like such a bottomfeeder. But he's hanging with the right crowd on his blog, bottomfeeders all. When he finds out who they really are, his legitimacy as a journalist will be over. That's if he had any to begin with.

  91. Chexxxxy, this is an amazing Blog. I admire you for challenging these haters so diplomatically. You just piece by piece prove them for the liars they are. It's amazing, before this event, I had no clue who JV was. Why does a nobody get to become a somebody, even an A$$hole, by trying to trash an extremely well known celebrity, just because he can?

I'm not sure JV is as gullible as some have mentioned. He maybe trying to post like he's innocent to all this, but you can be damn sure that he somehow figured out that recently, if you bash Clay Aiken you will become famous. He obviously needs a boost since he's done nothing since getting voted off his little show and its a dirty business, and they'll do whatever they have to to get noticed. He knows very well that its haters writing to him about Clay and not so call Clay fans that have been disillusioned by Clay and no longer like him. That's a bunch of crap!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Anonymous10:26 PM

We could probably name all the haters posting on his blog. Their MO is so transparent and they've been at the same game for almost 4 years.

JV wants everybody to think he's some hot shot reporter in search of the truth about Clay and his fans. He's either grasping at straws to extend his waning 15 minutes (I guess life is boring in Greensboro) or he's been promised a career boost to keep the smear alive, at least until Clay is free from RCA.

RCA won't do a think about it, but Clay's next label will. That's why these asswipes have to pull out all stops now. JV never made it to the finals of Survivor; now he sees this as his ticket to the big time. Pathetic creep.

Varner claims the GSO is a bogus list. The only way I would believe that is if the director of GSO stated it herself/himself. I do know that JV was unwilling to call Lisa Crawford as to the legitimacy of her e-mail. That alone should tell everyone that he isn't a journalist in search of the truth. He knows the e-mail is legit. He was just grasping at straws while he groped around looking for an angle to keep this going. His attempt at sincerity and integrity while exploring the depths of the fans' collective psyche is a joke. That's just so yesterday.

As far as being a diva, I've seen more diva behavior out of Kelly right on stage during a performance. If she took a crap on the stage, you'd all be oohing about how cute and natural she looked while doing it. Racing up with your little doggie bags for a souvenir. Who the hell are you kidding? She doesn't give a damn about any one of you and some of you are on her security list as well as on Clay's.

Besides, why is anyone's sexuality anybody's business? Have we made no progress as a society at all? For every step forward, it seems like it's two steps backward. It isn't a crime to be gay, and many people in the entertainment industry can be divas? You're fishing without bait. He didn't rob a bank or commit murder. You're all so obsessed with someone you hate, how sick and pathetic a bunch are you? Totally psychotic!

Ah, yes, the crazy Clay fans. Are you referring to the KCE and SS fans who impersonate the Clay fans and call the DJ's, entertainment shows and e-mail everyone under the sun pretending to be crazy Clay fans and disgruntled ex-fans? That bunch of crazy Clay fans? Pot meet kettle! You're so far gone you don't even realize it. It must suck to be some of you.

What moronic bunch spends their days thinking it's their duty to warn DJ's and other entertainment media about Clay's fans? Are you lunatics with no life? You do the dirty deed and then blame the Clay fans? There's plenty of screencaps over the years indicating EXACTLY who is behind the e-mails. Some DJ's and others who received those e-mails have saved them and passed them on, thinking they were way over the top to the point of alarming. Those e-mails have been passed along to the lawyers and proper law enforcement authorities.

His fan base is so HUGE, do you realize the damage they could do if they went after your idol the way you've gone after him? Why is it that they haven't? Please don't say it's because your idol is honest and sincere, and there's nothing to complain about. If Clay's fans were so crazy, why wouldn't they go after your idol? Where's the pattern here? The only ones acting true to form are the whackadoos from KCE and a few SS'ers. Stop being disingenuous. You're all sociopathic and the ones of you who continue down this path of destruction are going to find yourselves in a heap of trouble. That's a fact.

Fans support their idol. Go support yours. Maybe they'd be more popular if you spent less of your time trying to ruin Clay's career and more of your time behaving in a proactive manner towards your own idol. Get a life, a clue and therapy. Lots of it. Some of you are really mentally unbalanced.

Did Varner say it was bogus? Last I heard he said to show him the letterhead. Isn't e-mail considered a legitimate form of mail? I surely think so.

Did he call Lisa Crawford yet, or is he still stalling? Naw, he's changed the subject from Clay to the wacky fans and it looks like he's got his own little fan club now. Just what every fameho wants, his own fan club of sheeple. Have you drunk the kool-aid yet?

He's just there biding his time letting you do the dirty work for him. He doesn't need to do a thing, just say a few words, get the idea out there and you all follow like sheep. True to form. So predictable. Why don't some of you go on TV with him? We'd love to see that. Afraid of being identified? If you've got the truth on your side, you've got nothing to fear. Go ahead. Just remember, perjury is a criminal offense. But you wouldn't lie, now would you?

For gods sake, the promoter agreed to promote Triad idol and there was a miscommunication between the promoter and the symphony. How can you sell out because Clay's name is on the ticket and then expect him to only sing 4 songs when the audience expected a full set? What bozo made that decision? Many people came from all over the U.S., spent lots of money to get there and had no interest in hearing a high schooler perform. They came to hear Clay and he sang the same set he sang everywhere else. The media doesn't even hide their lies anymore.

There wasn't even a piano onstage when Jesse Vargas, Clay's conductor, came to rehearsal. Someone dropped the ball and won't admit it and now an opportunist is trying to grab the gold ring before his 15 minutes expire.

This has been a non-issue from the get-go. Joshua was seen that night by many people in the audience, laughing at the jokes and smiling as he went back and forth between backstage and his 10th row seat. He asked to meet Clay and get a photo with him and he got it. He even told one of Clay's relatives to thank Clay and that he hoped to meet him again one day. This asshat so-called reporter led him on and that piece was edited to give a negative impression. That kid was used and manipulated in a desperate attempt to create a scandal where there was none.

Fox 8 is probably encouraging JV as they're last in the ratings. Or else JV got his orders from the network to smear Clay while he was still under RCA's control. FOX is a co-owner of AI. Either way, JV gets his name out there.

Don't any of you EVER delude yourselves into thinking JV's an investigative reporter. He's just a garden variety snake in the grass looking to climb all over a star's talent and hard work to achieve some celebrity of his own.

Varner used to be an internet project manager. He is part of the smear campaign. He's the 2007 model, supposedly the new and improved version. He has better access to mainstream media than last year's recruit.

I have a question: How many of the haters are spontaneous and how many were "created" through viral marketing? Perhaps I should ask Terry Goldman that question?

AI created a stereotypical caricature and turned him into a pariah. All because Clay was more popular than the winners and didn't want to be the next Manilow, you know, 80's easy-listening. AI Clay and the real Clay are two totally different people. I'm inclined to think AI has been behind this smear since the beginning.

From what I've read without going to jv's blog, he is not an investigative reporter. For all we know he may have been involved all along and is acting like all of this is new to him. There is a real story yet to be written about the haters impersonating both Clay and the fans on the internet and how far they went in their madness to contact djs and "other persons of importance".

Don't laugh. I always thought there was the potential for a pulitzer prize if the real story was written but not just about Clay and us. My guess is that fan wars between other groups escalated to this point too. It is frightening because of how much they have gotten away with over the years and the time they spend doing this. It is bizarre that they would go after an entertainer to this extent when there is so much need to help others in this world.

So has jv responded to the challenge by producing his insiders on camera to identify themselves and to confirm what they are saying? since we know who they are already, they can't use the excuse that they are afraid to appear on camera.

I will respond to Jeff on this blog.

You might want to consider the reason you haven't heard from Clay's fans to appear on camera with you is because you are hearing from those posing as fans are actually enemies? Our faces and interviews have been all over the internet and have even been interviewed on television. We are proud of our fandom and place in it. I have yet to see a proud hater be so bold. Perhaps it is time they step out and be seen. How about it, Jeff?

Oh, and as for your free speech comment. It seems people have been free to say what they want - but don't expect lies to go unchallenged.

Shouldn't celebrities have equal rights under the laws. Shouldn't there be more criminal laws for what people post on the internet.

For four years fans have willingly shared their pictures and stories within the fandom. They have been shown on television audiences and some singled out for interviews. They stand up at gatherings to speak. They come up on stage to dance. There is no shame in their fandom.

What I have never seen is an anti-Clay fan (with one exception and you know who he is) be willing to share their pictures or stories publicly Why is that? It's high time they come forward.

regarding clay's web cam shots, i have no opinion or comment. if anyone gets their jollies finding love or sex online, it's their business, not mine. but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know...if a celebrity gets caught in one of those unfortunate webcam situations, they more than likely won't admit it. don't you agree?

  121. I'm no attorney or photo expert, but I could prove to a judge or jury that those webcam shots were not Clay. They don't even look like him. Doesn't JV have a degree or work in Graphic Arts? He already knows the photos are fake.

I just read, and not at his site, that they are thrilled with the number of hits they are getting. Hopefully, none of Clay's fans are feeding their egos.

And as for slander, I have not seen anyone slandering him, but if they were, guess he, as a public figure, might start to figure out the tiniest fraction of the feelings that Clay might have about trying to end it. Unlike Clay, I doubt that he would have the fortitude to remain sane through a campaign like the one waged against Clay. Fortunately, we know that Clay will keep on being Clay and in the end, have the last laugh. Lies can be told about someone all day, but at the end of the day, if they are not believed, then the only one hurt is the liar.

It's a game and I choose not to play.

But don't you see, or maybe you do? That's the whole point. They WANT Clay to sue to make tabloid headlines and drag out fameho wannabe after wannabe to eat up Clay's fortune. Malice is difficult to prove and they know it. They don't care about the truth. They just want to separate Clay from his fans and his money by turning it into a media circus and dragging it out in court. The tabloid media would never print the truth anyway, even if Clay prevailed. Only the sordid accusations, which as the editor of the NE told 60 minutes, is usually made up by a staffer.

    --

Why don't you do some research and ask the FBI or the White House what their background investigations consist of for this type of appointment with no access to sensitive or classified material in any manner?

The lowest level of background investigation the FBI conducts is what is known as an NACLC (National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check), which can clear you for access to CONFIDENTIAL material, of which this committee and it's members do not even have access too (so the standard for any investigation would be even less).

That includes a summary check of your criminal history and credit history.

Executive Order 12968 and the investigative standards for such background investigations lays it out as such:

Basic National Agency Checks (Security/Suitability Investigations Index, Defense Clearance and Investigations Index, fingerprint classification, and a search of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s investigative index).

Credit search covering all residence, employment, and education locations during the last 7 years.

Law Checks covering all locations of residence, employment, and education during the last 5 years and to all locations of admitted arrest. If 35-day service is requested, all law checks will be scheduled by Record Search. If 75-day service is requested, law checks will be scheduled by a combination of inquiry and record coverage. (See Service Availability below for additional information about law checks).

Visitors to the White House complex are asked to provide their social security numbers beforehand so a simple "background check" can be conducted on them. This is one step below the type of checks done on appointees with no access to sensitive or classified materials.

In short, they are not concerned with his sexual habits or preferences in any way whatsoever.
Even the credit checks (under federal law of what credit reporting can be used for) have drawn fire.

Lastly, I am not allowed to tell you all I know.

You and your co-horts made sure that the shit was sent to the committee ahead of his appointment so the "government" didn't need to really check, did they? Actually, sending that shit to them probably did get them to check and they found it was all lies, just as Mr. Aiken had indicated.

You can NOT, with any confidence at all, say that President Bush or his people didn't look into the allegations being thrown at Clay.

    --

I can tell you that definitively.

Executive Order 13087, amending Executive Order 11478, was signed on May 28, 1998, to provide a uniform policy for the federal government to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation. Executive Order 11478 section 1 reads:

It is the policy of the government of the United States to provide equal opportunity in federal employment for all persons, to prohibit discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, age, or sexual orientation and to promote the full realization of equal employment opportunity through a continuing affirmative program in each executive department and agency. This policy of equal opportunity applies to and must be an integral part of every aspect of personnel policy and practice in the employment, development, advancement, and treatment of civilian employees of the federal government, to the extent permitted by law.

The appointment screening process does not and can not take into consideration a person's sexual habits or orientation. As Clay's appointment grants him no access to any clasified or sensitive matrial, it is not an issue for any type of screening (as it might be were he considered for a National Security position).

Congressman Mark Foley was not forced to resign by any investigative or authoritative body, but by light of his own actions coming to light. He was in a National Security Position and had advocated for stiffer penalties for online predators while evidently engaging in questionable activities.
To this day, the investigations of the Congress into Mark Foley have found all Federal investigative procedures and oversight were followed.

Again, Clay is on a largely symbolic committee with no governmental or authoritative power at all, and no access to sensitive or classified material.

Simply where we differ is in your assertion that "he asked to be investigated" (he did not - other than the appointment application was made with his knowledge), and the assertion the "lies were proven unfounded", as they were not a focus of the screening in any manner.

6:03: Really and how do you know?

    --

There are some things I am not allowed to share.

    --

It's okay to be on a presidential committee and still be assumed to be an internet predator?

    --

Meeting individuals online (for sex or otherwise) does not constitute an internet predator.

    ---

Why are you debating at all, 6:09? It's very apparent that you will not change minds here so why continue to beat a dead horse?

    ---

I am not attempting to debate. I have attempted to dispel some misinformation about background investigations and especially as it applies to the one done for Clay's appointment.

The lies were proven unfounded. Did I stutter when I posted that? It is the truth, the lies WERE proven to be unfounded. As I said, you can choose to believe it or not, it doesn't matter to me.

    I know the truth.

Unlike you and your friends, I don't have to create stories to support my lies.

    Truth hurts, doesn't it.

With that, I will bid you and this blog adieu. I can see I will not change your mind and it's impossible to change mine since I have the truth on my side.

    Buh-bye

You missed a very big memo. Clay did not meet anyone online and was called a predator by the people lying through their teeth about him.

It appears we have people posting as the same person but is really 2 different posters.

You all need to time your posts better.

The same ?lovely? people who have been lying about Clay are now after Carrie Underwood. They are posting supposed eye-witness accounts on another board about her not being a nice person and not being good to her fans. With her Grammy nominations and huge sales, she is becoming a threat to surpassing their favorite. My response is that I hope Carrie wins every reward she is up for and that her CD continues to sell huge number of CDs every week. She does not deserve this crap and neither do her fans. I like Carrie but can't say that I'm a fan. She seems nice. However, after what we have gone through for the last several years, I'm going to support Carrie and vote for her in polls. GO CARRIE!

You statement is wholly false, but I'm sure you are aware then that there would be an investigative record available under FOIA (the Freedom Of Information Act), and which after time will become public record (FBI investigative files automatically become publicly available 10 years after a case is closed or the investigative subject's death).

Of course they were a consideration. You may not believe it to be true but it doesn't make it any less true.

First of all, you dumb-ass troll, did you check with every member of the FBI to verify your blatherings about Clay NOT being vetted by checking this story? If not, shut your stupid pie-hole and go back to JV's blog. He's stupid enough to listen to you.

There are those in this fandom who DO have a direct link to Clay and his friends/family. They have ASSURED us that this story was checked out by the FBI and that it was found to be all lies. Clay passed the vetting process with flying colors.

I will choose to believe those people instead of some psychotic famehore and his band of lint-balls who have been attempting to smear Clay for four years now. Since you losers have never given us any valid reason to believe you in the past, I hardly think we'll start now.

It sure looks like someone here is not only a so-called insider, but seems to be an insider who takes great pleasure in assuming Clay is a gay, diva asshole who trolls online for sex and is only a minor celebrity. Am I right? Are you the so-called insider who was allegedly giving information to a certain desperate famewhore? What's the matter, honey, he didn't find you attractive, therefore he must be gay? Or are you a KCE'er who must denigrate every other idol in order to prove your Kelly love so that she'll take notice. Not that she will, but you could always hope.

    Why wait?
Perhaps you want to file a FOIA? Shall I tell you where and to whom to direct it too?
Since you are so "informed" (although providing no references whatsoever to support your imagination), I'm sure you don't need the names or numbers of the offices at the WH or FBI that handle background screenings to inquire?

    6:38PM:

So if the FBI file isn't made public until 10 years after the case is closed, then how can you say he wasn't investigated? You don't really know, do you? Are you now pretending to be an FBI insider, just like groucho is the RCA insider, when he isn't fantasizing he's a billionaire hoping to do Kelly? Did you know she has a restraining order out against that old fart?

Unfortunately for you, that other poster is right. There are people in the fandom with access to Clay's family and friends and others in a position to know what's happening behind the scenes.

Be careful, your agenda is showing. Now go back to contemplating the lint in Kelly's navel. That should prove to be orgasmic for you.

  180. Anonymous7:07 PM

Nope, I sure don't need you to give me the info. I already have it but thanks for your concern.

Sinceyou are the one who is concerned about my truthfulness perhaps you are the one who needs to contact the FOIA and come back and report to the rest of us.

My imagination has nothing to do with what I stated as the truth. It is the truth whether or not you like it.

So because you ran to google and posted what you found there, you are to be seen as more credible?

I would like to know why 6:58PM is so hostile and so sure that Clay is an internet sex troller? Could you please list the reasons why? I'm anxious to hear it from the point of view of someone whose opinion I don't share. Of course, I don't expect to hear "well, they must be true, because he never refuted them." That isn't deductive reasoning. That's a lazy thinker or a gullible one or the thinking of one who is predisposed to believing any nasty rumor (and may even be guilty of starting a few), as a means to an end.

First of all, you dumb-ass troll, did you check with every member of the FBI to verify your blatherings about Clay NOT being vetted by checking this story?

    --

I did not say he wasn't "vetted". I said you are all mistaken as to the depth of that investigation or what it entailed.

    --

There are those in this fandom who DO have a direct link to Clay and his friends/family. They have ASSURED us that this story was checked out by the FBI and that it was found to be all lies. Clay passed the vetting process with flying colors.

    --

I am not saying he didn't pass.
I am saying that his "vetting" entailed a criminal history and credit check. I've provided you references that show the process and what is entailed.
Those family members, or fans can say whatever they want. The background investigation did not probe or consider the allegations, his sexuality, or sexual habits in any manner. It did not offer any conclusions or assumptions as to the weight or validity of those allegations.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Anonymous7:16 PM

So if the FBI file isn't made public until 10 years after the case is closed, then how can you say he wasn't investigated?

    --

I've not said he didn't undergo a background investigation or screening. I have said it was not as intensive as continues to be suggested, nor did it probe the allegations, Clay's sexuality or sexual habits in any manner.

    I'll repeat:

7:11, hmmmm, changing your tune a bit now. Why is that I wonder?

The allegations were investigated and proven false. What about that do you choose not to understand?

Step back and think for just a minute. Why would someone continue to say the allegations were investigated and proven false? Allegations were investigated and proven false. What does that tell you?

What could that mean? What might have happened for someone to make that statement?

Come on, use your abstract thinking skills. Think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Anonymous7:21 PM

It doesn't take abstract thinking skills to figure it out. It's too obvious. There is proof out there that the allegations are lies. Perhaps the FBI didn't need to do the investigation. Perhaps another source was used to determine those words.

    Investigated and unfounded.

I fail to see where you can point to my being hostile. I've attempted to inject some truth in the midst of misinformation about the machinations of Federal background invesigations in general and Clay's specifically, and only have continually been attacked and insulted.

I have not commented on the allegations other than to say that they were not a focus or consideration in any way during the screening process for his appointment.

You are using the machinations of a normal Federal background investigation to specifically address Clay's situation, which is outside of the norm. Given the level of his celebrity and the current climate in Washington, and the fact that Clay and his lawyers requested the investigation, I don't think you can readily assume that the usual criteria was followed? So can you, asshole. The thing is, the family KNOWS; you're just blowing smoke out of your ass.

The background investigation did not probe or consider the allegations, his sexuality, or sexual habits in any manner.

It most certainly DID. They investigated those allegations by the famehore and found out they were all lies - just like Clay stated. How do they know they were all lies? Clay had an ironclad alibi for the night in question. That alibi will hold up in any court. That's why you'll never, ever see a lawsuit filed AGAINST Clay for any of the allegations. Filing a fraudulent lawsuit is a criminal offense. Since none of you losers wish to be the plaything of the cellblock, none of you will ever have the BALLS to file.

Give it up, dumb-ass. You have no knowledge of anything that went on in that investigation.

As far as us getting an FOI report, we already did that with the FAKE lawsuit filed by those "nine disgruntled Clay fans." Care to hear what the report had to say? Nope, didn't think so.
